MFA Visual Art alumna, Damali Abrams, debuts new website and performance in Westchester.
About GlitterPriestess.com, and her upcoming performance, Abrams states:
“In the face of contemporary horrors such as police murdering innocent citizens all over the country, and perpetual war all over the world, I am now offering customized homemade herbal remedies for anxiety, rage & other emotional upsets. Even if the whole world seems to be going crazy, we don’t have to! As I continue to work on my own healing process, releasing rage, anxiety, and feeling inadequate, I am ready to step up and share the tools that have been working for me.
If you have also been feeling down or frustrated, angry or anxious, then Glitter Priestess potions, elixirs and teas may be helpful to you too!
This Saturday October 1st, I will be demonstrating how to make lavender honey in an interactive performance installation during the opening reception of an exhibit called Remedy. Visitors can make their own lavender honey to take home! Details below.”
