A survey of work by Vermont College of Fine Art’s Visual Art Alumni
October 22 – November 25
At the apex of College Hill in Montpelier, the campus of Vermont College of Fine Art serves as a meeting place for a multitude of artists uniting from across the country and beyond. Since 1991, through a low-residency format, artists have maintained their artistic practice within the context of their daily communities. This unique experience encourages artists to find inspiration, and maintain a creative connection, while living their lives in a practical sense.
To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the MFA in Visual Arts at VCFA, alumni are organizing exhibitions, happenings, and events to take place simultaneously in their given regions. The goal is to strengthen community ties and generate dialogue amongst alumni and the larger community. The New England Region alumni are pleased to announce their exhibition at the gallery at Main Street Art.
